40 days into my yoga journey and it’s much tougher than I thought it would be.
I started this with the intention of keeping a track of my yoga progress as something to look back on to see what improvements I have made.
In reality I’ve been struggling to get myself on a mat and do a yoga practice, even something as little as a 10 minute flow. It’s becoming more of a mental health diary and checking in to see how I’m feeling.
I’ve been at war with myself lately and haven’t had the motivation to look after myself. Yoga is something I love to do and see it as a part of my self care but I keep feeling like I’m stuck in a rut.
I took up yoga to become more body positve and to learn to listen to myself and look after my body as a way of healing. It has helped me a lot and I am thankful that my journey has gotten me this far.
I do however still have a long way to go.
