Ex-Bears Player Erik Kramer Will Not Serve Jail Time in Domestic Violence Case

Former Chicago Bears player Erik Kramer will not serve any jail time in his domestic violence case.

TMZ Sports reported, Kramer was arrested after he told the police he got physical with Cortney Baird during a fight at their Agoura Hills home in June 2018.

Via TMZ Sports:

Baird claimed Kramer flipped out after she confronted him about an argument the two previously had … saying Erik got violent and threw various household items at her.

Kramer was eventually charged with one count of misdemeanor battery for the incident … and faced up to six months in jail if convicted.

But, TMZ Sports has learned the judge ordered Erik into an 18-month mental health diversion program … meaning if he keeps his nose clean for the next year and a half, his charge will be dropped.

We’re told Kramer is due back in court in August for a progress report hearing.

Kramer started 67 games in his 10-year NFL career … throwing for over 15,000 and 92 TDs.

Colts Owner Jim Irsay Buys $718,750 for John Lennon’s Piano

Chang, Chang!!!

Indianapolis Colts owner, Jim Irsay just scored another touchdown and bought John Lennon’s piano, TMZ Sports reported.

Via TMZ Sports:

We’re told Jim paid a whopping $718,750 for the piano Lennon used to write The Beatles’ eighth studio album, “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.” As we first reported … the famous piano went up for auction earlier this month … with Irsay rising above the rest.

The piano is one of several Lennon stored and used at his famous Kenwood house on St. George’s Hill estate in Weybridge, England. Legend has it, this was his favorite piano, which itself is a piece of history … it’s a John Broadwood & Sons piano that dates back to 1872!!!

The piano also features a plaque that says, “On this piano was written: A Day in the Life, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Good Morning, Good morning, Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite and Many others. John Lennon. 1971.”

Jim’s clearly ecstatic after hauling the relic piece.

He’s a HUGE music memorabilia collector. Jim also owns the Yellow Cloud electric guitar Prince used in concerts from the late 80s. He also paid nearly $1 million for Jerry Garcia’s one-of-a-kind “Tiger” guitar. And, he’s also the proud owner of the Fender Stratocaster used by Bob Dylan at the Newport Folk Festival back in 1965 … after dropping another near $1 million.

We’re told Irsay hopes to open a museum in Indianapolis for all the memorabilia he’s scooped up over the years. Congrats!!!

Machine Learning with Codeacdemy

Machine learning is the science of getting computers to learn and act like humans do, and to improve their learning over time in autonomous fashion by feeding them data and information in the form of observations and real-world interactions.

It can be branched out into the following categories:

* Supervised Learning

* Unsupervised Learning

Supervised Learning is when  the data is labeled and the program learns to predict the output from the input data.

Unsupervised Learning is where the data is unlabeled and the program learns to recognize the inherent structure of the input data.

Kansas State’s Hunter Rison Suspended Indefinitely After Arrest on Domestic Battery Charge

Kansas State wide receiver Hunter Rison has been suspended indefinitely after his arrest on a domestic battery charge.

According to The Mercury first-year Kansas State head football coach Chris Kileman announced the suspension Saturday morning.

Via The Mercury:

The Riley County Police Department police arrested Rison at 1:56 p.m. in the 2200 block of College Avenue. He was charged with one count of domestic battery/knowing or reckless bodily to family/person in dating relationship. Rison is free on $1,000 bond.

Klieman didn’t mention the arrest, instead citing the suspension as a “violation of team and departmental policy.”

“Our program will be one that is built on hard work and integrity and doing things the right way,” Klieman said in a release. “We have extremely high expectations for our players on and off the field.”

K-State said Klieman “will have no further comment on the matter at this time.”

Rison transferred to K-State last year after beginning his college career at Michigan State. In his lone season with the Spartans in 2017, Rison played in 12 games, catching 18 passes for 223 yards. His career-best outing came against Notre Dame, when he recorded four receptions for 73 yards.

After sitting out last season to satisfy NCAA transfer rules, praise for Rison has been plentiful this spring.

Following the conclusion of spring practice on April 13, Klieman said Rison only continued to get better each and every practice.

“He has a world of ability, and I am excited to see, just like everybody else, when we reinstall all of this stuff when we get to August, how much retention everybody has so that they just play faster,” Klieman said of Rison, a third-year sophomore. “It is sometimes difficult to tell how talented a young man is if they do not know what they are doing. Now they are starting to get the understanding of our schemes, offensively and defensively. They will continue to do that themselves with practices this spring and summer, but when we get into August and we reinstall it as coaches, I will look for really quantum leaps from a lot of guys.”

Rison, the son of former first-round NFL draft pick and five-time Pro Bowl receiver Andre Rison, is expected to fight for a spot in the starting lineup this fall. But he said last month that despite the high expectations others have for him, he didn’t "want to get ahead of myself” or offer any predictions about the coming season.
