I praise the Golden, I worship Her Majesty,
I extol the Lady of Heaven; I give adoration to Het-Hert,
Laudations to my Mistress!
I called to Her, She heard my plea,
She sent my Mistress to me;
She came by Herself to see me,
O great wonder that happened to me!
I was joyful, exulting, elated,
When they said: “see, She is here!”
As She came, the young men bowed,
Out of great love for Her.
I make devotions to My Goddess,
That She grant me my sister as gift.

(Hymn from the Papyrus Chester Betty)

I had very little spoons yesterday since I have been busy and suffering side-effects from my medication changes, so I ended up doing Senut very late. During offerings I also included a promise for a donut in the morning, so of course I dream about doing just that before I wake up. I guess They wanted to remind me to make sure I wouldn’t forget! 😂👌

It’s more than a little disappointing to see people telling artists in the kemetic community that the netjeru HAVE to be drawn as poc. Art is very interperative and I feel like everyone should be allowed to draw them whatever skin color they see the god or goddess as. You draw them as poc? Fantastic! That is wonderful to see! You want them green or blue? Amazing! They are pale? Super! I see absolutely no problem with any interpretation of the netjeru. I just cannot see why everyone is so upset about this. Art is made completely up the the artist, if you wish to see the art peice done in a different way then by all means make your own! :) The kemetic community should be loving and open, the netjeru do not wish to see us hate one another for such simple and trivial things. That is the workings of the serpent.

Last night and this afternoon, I asked for Netjer to help me make a bracelet with my (very limited) supplies. :p After using a mixture of pendulum and intuition, this is the end result! Netjer chose all the beads and charm, and I used intuition for the rest. It took a bit of tweaking before I got the “okay” on this!

At first I didn’t think Netjer chose enough beads… but it JUST fits! The cord isn’t very stretchy, but it doesn’t need to be. :D Thank you, Netjer. I will wear this with love and pride. May it last for a very long time!

Today, on my typical day of rest and relaxation, I am taking the time to learn more about jackal deities on Per-Sabu. I really enjoy this site, and taking time to learn more and more while drinking a good cup of coffee can’t really be beat. Hopefully I can handle the caffeine. :D

I figured today was as good a time as any to have a cup in the morning, since I got up earlier than desired to work on my “sleep hygiene” as directed by Hemet as part of the Dream Temple. My partner and I have agreed to try and develop better habits and routine for sleep (though he’s very begrudging, as he is stubborn when it comes to changing routine, even if it’s for his benefit, haha), and last night was the first attempt at doing so. I daresay it was easier to fall asleep, but I definitely need to get back into routine. Even after some good ol’ Bean Juice, I’ve got a good case of the yawns.

I figure at some point (perhaps today) I should ask on the DT board if Beginners are permitted to join in this endeavor. I don’t see why we wouldn’t be permitted, but I want to double check all the same, as it is of great interest to me (and aligns so well with my already established practice).

One of the things I did run into was during the blessing of my DT journal, where Hemet tells us to ritually purify it with the assistance of our personal God(s), and to tell Them what we are up to and ask for Their help. I left this a bit open-ended as I have not gone through the RPD, so I don’t know who my Parent(s) or Beloved(s) would be, so I left it open-ended to Netjer and Those Names that may identify with those titles to assist me as They see fit. I hope that was okay, haha.

Either way, working on sleeping better will be good, especially with tying it into my practice. Looking forward to seeing how it unfolds, especially if it helps me connect to the Netjeru even more. ♥

Wep Ronpet - Asir

Yesterday was the start of the celebration of Wep Ronpet, and the first to be celebrated in the Kemetic New Year is Asir!

Yesterday I made hymns and art as a gift to him, and thought I’d share it with yall too.

This one’s a brightened version but I thought it kinda ruined the quality :(

Dua Asir!

And now it is time to celebrate Heru-Wer’s day of birth!

Happy bday, Bird Dad ❤❤❤❤

anonymous asked:

Do you know of any invocations to Heh?

Historical ones? good gods no, my practices are not exactly…. historically informed for the most part…. at least, not extensively.

But you can certainly write one up, and I actually encourage people to do so, its personal, and has more oomph!

kinda like this: (but this is badly done tho, considering I dont work with Lord Hehu and I dont know your actual intent/focus of the invocation)

Hail to you Heh!
Hail to you Hehu!
Master of Eternity
Deity of Limitlessness
God of Everlastingness
Lord of Millions of Years
Personification of Infinity
You who reigns over Perfect Totality
You who presides over Unlimited Time
You who governs over Incalculable Numbers
Glory to you, Lord Hehu, who grants the World the Cycle of Time
Glory to you, Lord Heh, who grants the Pharaoh their Eternal Reign
Glory to you, Lord Hehu, who grants Existence to the Primordial Waters
Glory to you, Lord Heh, who grants the Inundation to the People of The Nile
