Volunteering at a #muirranch despite #cityofpasadena cutting #funding for school programs (along with other community programs) Yet #Pasadena has also had a significant increase in families and individuals experiencing homelessness. Thanks #homelesscount as if we didn’t already know there are more people experiencing #homelessness
We need MORE programs that incorporate the #stemsciences #prosocialdevelopment and developing true #entrepreneurial skills, not more doors closed or hidden for our kids.
However we as a community can spread the word and evoke change together. @mudbaron and @plannedlanddesigns are fundraising for @muirranch and need our support. #MastergardenerLA #gardeningasformofresistance
