People usually ask how after retiring from competitive martial arts to natural bodybuilding practice- I still maintain a basic amount of mobility- it’s because the body is a beautiful bank account. If you do something for a certain amount of time going back to with a little practice (like riding a bike 🏍) comes back easier. As well as with maturity and age mobility takes equal importance with maintaining and building muscle mass. Practice is 10 minutes daily.

“It’s time for the next level. Work hard, rise above, and most of all; believe in yourself.”

I started the #gymshark66 challenge on January 1st and even though today it ends that doesn’t mean I’m going to stop pushing myself. During this time I gained about 6lbs 🙈 (small gains) and increased my strength all around. My max currently is 155lbs on bench and 185lbs on squat so pretty proud that I can lift well over than what I weigh!

I gotta give props to my husband for supporting me and pushing me outside of my comfort zone. Sometimes I forget just how strong and capable I AM and often underestimate myself. If anything this challenge has allowed me to see my endless potential and maximize my own strength. I tried some new things like cardio kickboxing (me and cardio= NO NO) and I now know that weight lifting is where I find the most happiness.

I also have virtually met the most supportive and loving people in the Gymshark community. The amount of genuine support and love given in this group is like nothing I’ve seen before and makes me love the Gymshark brand even more.

Even though I already live an active lifestyle this challenge was a nice way for me to push myself to do even more. I’m going to continue to push myself because I’ve only just begun scratching the surface of the goals I have set.💪🏋️‍♀️ And to top off my Friday it’s #internationalwomansday 👑💗 @gymsharkwomen@gymsharktrain
