Bettina Bolegard (29.09.1916 - 09.10.1977)
She appeared on the covers of Life, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Mademoiselle and Cosmopolitan, as well as the fashion and advertising pages of magazines and newspapers throughout this country and Europe. When she was 4 years old, the family moved to Paris, where her mother, Julie Dutton, was fashion correspondent for The Chicago Daily News and The Baltimore Sun. Her father, Joseph Bolegard, a native of Italy, was a successful commercial artist and a friend of many prominent artists in Paris at that time.
Died of cancer, aged 61.
