Chalfonte is a Rogers International silverware pattern from 1926. The Chalfonte pattern is most likely named after the Chalfonte hotel in New Jersey. Built in 1876, it’s simple rooms still have no TV’s or phones. Of course, it was renovated in 2009 and now has central air and wireless service, but what a long time to hold out! This beautiful pattern art deco spoon ring is a sleeper. The pattern looks pretty boring and nonchalant in the silverware box, until it’s polished and the patina’s depth is brought out by the polished shine. The last time Chalfonte came to the Dank Artistry studio was about 5 years ago, I was living on smiles and handshakes and I had a new passion for bending spoons. I love looking at how much I’ve learned about the seemingly simple process of spoon bending! Look At this spoon ring! What a beauty. Of course the pattern name is called Americn Beauty and it’s from 1909. Perhaps the beauty of America has changed a lot since 1909 yet this pattern has stayed the same. It features 4 roses and a lot of immaculate shine! Ring wid--th: 1 inch Ring weight: 18.9 grams
