Super Women!!!

My female role model that has inspired me is my mother. She inspires me because she was very
authoretive, Strong, and very Supportive. She was always there when I needed a lending hand and
when I just needed to talk. She was also a very loving person who everyone like and looked up too.
And when we did not agree on certain situations, we would still find away to laugh and talk about
everything and anything we could.
My mother was very authoretive. Authoretive parenting is a style that is characterized by high
responsiveness and high demands. My mother would always set boundaries and limits to make sure I
succeeded in my life. With this she set up to make sure I was happy/content, independent, as well as
self-reliant, develop social skills, and to be able to explore new environments without being afraid and
lastly she made sure I was competent and assertive. She also helped show me that I can have good
self-esteem, achieve in a higher education, and to have a better mental health; for instance, less
depression, anxiety, less suicide attempts and no drug use.
My mother was also the strongest women I have ever met. She always listened, admitted when she
failed, and did not give any empty threats. She always followed through with her disciplines as well as
carried them out when I was acting up and getting into trouble. When she knew she was wrong she
was the type to learn from it and apologize, she would always make sure to make it right. Lastly, she
would always listen when I needed a friend or just wanted someone to talk to. I hope someday I can
as half a mother as she was.
When it came to my mother, she always supported me no matter what. A supportive parent means
having that childs best interest at play and being present, involved, and being helpful. My mother
always was involved in my life no matter if it was sports, education or other activities. She also made
sure my needs were met as well. It is important to be a supportive parent because the influence that
parent has on the child can be more dependent in the trusting relationship than on dishing out
authorities and the lectures to give.  It may seem they are pushing away but in reality, they are
pushing themselves away to choose a new direction in their life and to shape an identity for
themselves as a separate, independent person.
My mother was supermom, she was my role model because the way she loved and cared for me. She
loved me for me no matter what, she respected my feelings and concerns, and she gave me the best
protection from any mental and physical abuse. She was supportive, authoretive, and very strong. This
inspires me to one day be all that she was when I become a mother myself.

My Safe Place

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You can say to yourself -I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along-  Even though I am scared I use these three things to help me feel safe so I can succeed in life, what makes me feel safe is to name the fear, educate myself, and to have a positive attitude, anything else can help too but these help the most by letting me face fear head on.
When Naming the fear, it sometimes gives us the strength to deal with it. When saying your fear out loud, writing it down or even focusing on it, it then can help. When we face it, it then begins to shrink but when we try to avoid our fear it then begins to grow.  Fear is one of the most pervasive obstacles to the personal growth of majority of people. We then must name it and understand it as well as becoming intimate with it so we can feel it and move on. For example, becoming aware that we have fear, naming and labeling that fear, practicing awareness over that fear and taking practical steps to overcoming that fear. If we do not label our fear it then starts to take over and control us and our life. To become aware of our fear we start by mindfulness meditation, journaling, psychotherapy and exercise. Once we develop our awareness, we then begin to uncover what our fears are and then we can put a label on them. For instance, we must ask ourselves Why am I feeling this fear? How did I acquire this fear and what about myself can I learn from understanding this fear?  Practicing awareness over that fear is much more different. It is used as a deliberate practice over our specific fear. For example, Jake who has the fear of rejection would write down his fear and post it on his wall so he then would see id every morning when he woke up and become more aware. Taking practical steps is where the practical work is done. If Sara has the fear of public speaking she would then go and do some public speaking. Assuming we follow this process, we then will banish our fears.
Why is it important to Educate ourselves on our fears? There are five steps on why we should. Fear means growth, things are not as bad as they seem, what is the best thing that could happen, we are always stronger than we think, and fear is part of life, and we do not need to eliminate them. Fear means we are moving towards our comfort zone and we are doing something very unfamiliar, also we are taking on a new challenge as well as learning new skills. This then means we are growing, and we will be bigger, better, and brighter than before. this is our way of upgrading to a better version of ourselves.
In most cases, the thing we fear is never as bad as we think. When trying to leave, quit or do something new, we all lack the perspective to look deeper. For example, Jamie had a sick dog and the fear of the dark, but her dog needed to potty really bad in the middle of the night, so she had to breathe in and take him out. Once she figured out it was not that scary it became more easily to do.  Obsessing with the worst scenarios shifts our perspectives on the evidence of the negative unfolding our lives and we steer off the path but focusing on the positive will steer us into the right direction we need to go. When facing our fears, it can teach us so much about our strengths and power that we did not know we had. This will build your confidence, broaden your comfort zone, and make you play on a whole new level of what is possible!The best lesson is instead of eliminating our fears, we welcome them and cope with them. Our best decisions are the ones that are not easy that is why we grow from them. Fear keeps us focused on the past or worried about the future. If we can acknowledge our fear, we can realize that right now we are okay. Right now, today, we are still alive, and our bodies are working marvelously. Our eyes can still see the beautiful sky. The importance of keeping a positive attitude when scared is heightened awareness, acknowledgment, enlightenment, focus, concentration, preparation, planning, choices, analysis, evaluation, motivates to build skills, and overcoming fear as well as the reward anticipation. Though there is a lot more these are the few that really matters. Fear guides our fight or flight mode and helps us to stay safe and alive. It heightens our senses and our awareness; it keeps us alert as well as helping better our preparation. Too much fear is like flying on a plane with excess baggage and overcoming our fear means we start by taking action.
What is the driving force behind your fear? Who is on the drivers seat you or your fear? What is the foundation of the fear? What is the root cause? What triggers the fear? asking time to understand what makes us fearful can offer useful insights and help to prepare for the fear and even work on reducing the fear or the fear triggers. Learn from your past fears. It is rare to eliminate fear from ones life however with practice fear can be managed and kept under control. Preparation includes feeding yourself with positive encouragement, inspiration, reading about others who have accomplished their goals and letting their stories be a source of motivation, imagining yourself as having achieved the goal and letting this mental imagery spur you onward. Planning includes documenting your starting point, seeing the big picture, breaking it down into smaller tasks, taking action and tracking your progress as you reach each small milestone. You cant attack the giants in your life, if you are not aiming to strike and hit the target. You cant run a race in vain, if you have no plans to win or finish it. Fear can be a good thing; it helps us in ways we did not ever know. When we face our fears head on it then becomes less of a fear and more of an opportunity. There are many ways to overcome fear. When we put a label on it our fear then begins to shrink but when we avoid it fear grows, when we educate ourselves on fear we learn that it is not so bad and we develop awareness as well as learning our strengths we never knew we had, and when keeping a positive attitude we build skills that we did not have and we overcome that fear that we then become proud of ourselves and we feel good about it too.

Responsibilities of owning a pet!

Even though almost every animal can cause allergies; the proteins in their urine, saliva, and dander can act as allergens and cause an allergic reaction in some people, having their best interest at heart because another way that owning a pet can help teach a child to be more responsible. This is when a parent gives the child pet related chores that are of course age appropriate. Even a three-year-old can fill a water dish and older kids can clean the litter box and give a dog a bath. Owning a pet means making decisions and owning a pet is a privilege which should result in a mutually beneficial relationship. The benefits of pet ownership com with responsibilities like: Committing to the relationship, selecting the best pet suited to the home environment, and it requires investment of time and money.
It can be tempting to go out and buy a pet but are you ready to commit? Pets are a financial commitment. Some pets can be low cost and some pets can start at a low cost but steadily cost you a small fortune. Over the years, my dog had been easy maintenance. He is a small dog, so his food intake was small, and he rarely had to visit the vet. However, he is almost 15 and now elderly and sick. His medications cost an arm and a leg every month. Like humans, animals get sick regardless of age or lifestyle. Can you afford to shell out the money, as well as time for your pet? This is something that needs to be considered.  Pets can be a time commitment While some pets are said to be low maintenance they still need some time committed to them daily. Feeding, grooming and exercise are just a few things to consider when it comes to the daily care of a pet. If you are constantly traveling or spending more time at school or work then at home, it might be a good idea to hold off getting a pet for the time being. They had that pet while in school but once they graduated and moved to a new city or apartment were unable to take their pet with them. It is a decision no one wants to make, having to part with their beloved pet, either temporarily or permanently. Like time commitment, perhaps you should wait until your life is a little less hectic.
How do I know what pet fits me and my lifestyle? When it comes to choosing the right pet for your lifestyle, its important to consider factors such as energy level, dietary needs, required training, common medical issues, and proper environment. These can all have an impact on your pets health and happiness, as well as your ability to properly care for them. Energy level, A cat or dogs energy level can be a critical determinant of whether your lifestyles will be compatible. Higher energy pets are for those who are very active, lower energy pets are best for those who love a lot of downtime like sitting on the couch and watching tv. Most dogs require 30 minutes to two hours of exercise per day, though this depends on the breed, age, and overall health of the dog. While cats can spend as much as 14 hours a day sleeping, engaging them in moderate exercise for at least 30 minutes per day is usually recommended.
Temperament is also a factor in what pet is best for you. Like people, all animals have unique personalities and temperaments that are displayed in their habits or behavior. While some dogs are more outgoing, social, and crave attention, others can be more laid back, calm, or even shy. It is very important that the pet feel comfortable in their new environment that they will live in. special needs: dietary and training, Also, consider special dietary requirements based on age, size, and breed, as well as any formal training requirements. While many common breeds of dogs and cats require minimal or basic training, some may require more advanced or specialized training. This is particularly true with hunting dogs, service dogs, or high-maintenance breeds that have an intrinsic desire to work. Medical issues also is a factor because like us pets will become ill or injured so you will need to be able to afford any medical bills at any time.

Before you just go out and buy the first pet you see consider all the right possibilities. Are you really committed to having this pet for their entire life? There are eight ways to have more gratitude in life. Do not be picky; appreciate everything even if it is the little things, find gratitude in your daily challenges, practice mindfulness, keep a gratitude journal, volunteer, express yourself, spend as much time with loved ones, and improve your happiness in other areas of your life like: just being happy.
Where do you want to be in life right now and in the future? Whats something you would regret never having done in life? And what are you doing right now to make your life better? These are some questions we need to ask to improve your life. We often have everything in life to enjoy but it is a question on prioritizing what really is important. There are so much more but these are a few I feel that are most important to improving your life.
Improving your life does not have to be anything big; it can be something simple that you can constantly work on. These can increase your confidence, reduce stress, creating a deeper relationship, and becoming healthier as a person; these things are: Achieving mindfulness like meditation, developing a routine in the morning or at night like being productive in breaking down every task into small steps, do a bunch of little productive tasks like set thirty minutes and do the simple tasks like folding and putting away the laundry or going through old clothes to donate, and get to know yourself, what better way of improving your life than by learning your strengths and weaknesses.

Importance of self-esteem:

How can I surround myself with people who encourage me? What makes me feel good about myself? And what positive habits can I develop to improve my self-esteem? These are three questions we should ask ourselves to help improve our self-esteem. Even though too much self-esteem, as exhibited in narcissistic personality disorder, can certainly be off putting to others and can even damage personal relationships., Confidence in ones own worth or abilities; self-respect because self-esteem can play a significant role in our motivation and success throughout our lives. And self-esteem levels at the extreme high and low ends of the spectrum can be harmful, so ideally, it is best to strike a balance somewhere in the middle.
People who encourage us, how others treat us can make a big difference to how much self- esteem we have, and how we feel within out own skin. Some activities that can make us feel good about ourselves can be writing, bowling, cleaning the house, and exercising. Self- esteem is all about how we feel about ourselves, and how comfortable we are in out own skin.
Positive habits we develop to improve our self-esteem are positive affirmations- what we tell ourselves everyday is an affirmation and it is what we end up believing and becoming. Some affirmations are I am more than worth it, I do things that make me feel good, and I will surround myself with encouraging people, celebrate our accomplishments- when acknowledging our wins, we then recognize what we our capable of doing, when do I feel most comfortable in my own skin?- this is about self-awareness, and finding out when we feel most comfortable and confident within our own skin. Also do not forget to pay attention to our habits, our days, and how certain things that makes us feel throughout the days and weeks.
Positive habits that helps us to improve our self-esteem are; set small goals- it is important for us to have long-term goals and aspirations and we should always be working towards them, but it can be very overwhelming at times. So before starting the days, try and set smaller goals that we can accomplish like do the dishes, do the laundry, read a book or even go through clothes to donate, graciously accept compliments so that next time we get one we do not brush it off, but we then can say Thank you, stop comparing ourselves to others- when we try to improve our self-esteem, constantly comparing ourselves to others can be our worst enemy. Self-confidence has to come from within, so rid yourself of any ideas that losing 10 pounds or beating someone to a promotion is going to magically make you feel great about yourself.

As you might imagine, there are different factors that can influence self-esteem. Genetic factors that help shape overall personality can play a role, but it is often our experiences that form the basis for overall self-esteem. Those who consistently receive overly critical or negative assessments from caregivers, family members, and friends, for example, will likely experience problems with low self-esteem.? Additionally, your inner thinking, age, any potential illnesses, disabilities, or physical limitations, and your job can affect your self-esteem. Confidence, Ability to say no, Positive outlook, Ability to see overall strengths and weaknesses and accept them, Negative experiences don’t impact overall perspective, and Ability to express your needs are positive self-esteem. Negative outlook, Lack of confidence, Inability to express your needs, Focus on your weaknesses, Feelings of shame, depression, or anxiety, Belief that others are better than you, Trouble accepting positive feedback, Fear of failure are all low self-esteem.

Importance of Boredom!

In my experience, its often the most obvious, simplistic solutions that are the most powerful in life. So, when youre bored, the easiest way to combat this is to enjoy it. Contrary to popular belief, we dont need to be constantly doing things in order to be productive. In-fact research has shown that people are more productive when they take periods of rest to recharge. Even though Dealing with boredom can be a good thing. Sounds weird but think of boredom as a form of relaxation. Its a break from the constant stimulation that 21st century living provides. The constant TVs, mobile phones, radios, internet, emails, phone calls, Try and find activities to do that keep you busy. because Boredom is useful in some ways because it give us energy to do things, so next time youre bored why not put this good energy to use by ticking off those things that you have been meaning to get done, but have been too busy. and focus on whats really important to you. What would make good use of your time? What could you be doing that would contribute to your major goals in life?

What could you be doing that would contribute to your major goals in life? Examples are; The war between being and nothingness is the underlying illness of the twentieth century. Boredom slays more of existence than war. – Norman Mailer. The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity. – Dorothy Parker. Another example is Time Goals – Goals that are oriented to a specific schedule or deliverable. Focus Goals – Goals that help keep you on track toward a larger, ultimate goal. Topic-based Goals – Goals rooted in a specific arena of your life (personal, professional, artistic, etc.).
So, it is clear that although Dealing with boredom can be a good thing. Sounds weird but think of boredom as a form of relaxation. Its a break from the constant stimulation that 21st century living provides. The constant TVs, mobile phones, radios, internet, emails, phone calls, Try and find activities to do that keep you busy. for two main reasons. First, Boredom is useful in some ways because it give us energy to do things, so next time youre bored why not put this good energy to use by ticking off those things that you have been meaning to get done, but have been too busy.. But most importantly, focus on whats really important to you. What would make good use of your time? What could you be doing that would contribute to your major goals in life? In my experience, its often the most obvious, simplistic solutions that are the most powerful in life. So, when youre bored, the easiest way to combat this is to enjoy it. So what if we are bored, it may be a good thing.

There are seven sign that tell when he is the right one to fall in love with; they are: You will feel surprised,  you feel safe, you will constantly feel happiness, You will become more mature, you will feel valued, you will feel the freedom, and last but not least, you will feel full of hope.  
The most important reason Love is a feeling that you feel about a person that means a lot to you. is because It is the quintessential human emotion. Some examples are being disorganized, anxious and exhausted.  You are adding a new relationship to your buy life. Your normal responsibilities at work and home may fall thin when you are putting all the effort into the new relationship. This can make you more anxious. Also, loving asks you to lower your defenses and loosen up your personal boundaries so that you can merge your needs and desires with those of your lover. This process can be threatening and make you feel unsafe. With all of the hormone changes and fears going on inside of you, it is no wonder you may feel exhausted in the early stages of falling in love. Some people say after their honeymoon they just want to relax.

Journaling: Beneficial or not?

Journaling can have a negative effect on your behavior and well-being if it: Some examples are, Makes you live too much in your head, Makes you a passive observer of your life (thinking about how youll record it instead of experiencing what is happening), Makes you self-obsessed, Becomes a vehicle of blame instead of solutions, Wallows in negative things that have happened to you. Another example is; Some people think about their journal so much that it keeps them from experiencing their lives firsthand as well as Some people feel such an extreme urge to journal that their lives are consumed by it. A great example of this is Robert Shields. For 25 years, he journaled about every single 5-minute interval of his life. When he had to stop due to a stroke, he had produced a journal of 37.5 million words that filled 94 boxes. Just think about the scope of such a journal. It’s truly bizarre.

Journaling helps control your symptoms and improve your mood by: Helping you prioritize problems, fears, and concerns, tracking any symptoms day-to-day so that you can recognize triggers and learn ways to better control them, Providing an opportunity for positive self-talk and identifying negative thoughts and behaviors. Tips on how to start journaling:
Try to write every day. Set aside a few minutes every day to write. This will help you to write in your journal regularly.
Make it easy. Keep a pen and paper handy at all times. Then when you want to write down your thoughts, you can. You can also keep a journal in a computer file.
Write whatever feels right. Your journal doesn’t need to follow any certain structure. It’s your own private place to discuss whatever you want. Let the words flow freely. Don’t worry about spelling mistakes or what other people might think.

My fears and how I vanquished them!!!!

Driving can be a good or a bad thing. What actually is scary about them? Even though If you have a car and don’t mind driving it around, then you’re well on your way to earning hundreds of dollars on the side every month., Driving is scary and working is very stressful because when work stress becomes chronic, it can be overwhelming — and harmful to both physical and emotional health. Unfortunately, such long-term stress is all too common. and I wont be able to control the car I may cause an accident.
If you have a car and don’t mind driving it around, then you’re well on your way to earning hundreds of dollars on the side every month. One great thing about Door Dash: you are guaranteed a minimum of $10 per hour even if business is slow enough that you wouldn’t otherwise make that! Average pay is anywhere from $10 to $20, and up to $25 per hour. Plus, as a consumer, Door Dash is my current favorite food delivery service. If you’re a college student you might try Tapingo, which focuses on campus delivery. Otherwise your options are pretty much legion! Another example is, you can use your own car to be a courier for Amazon using Amazon Flex. You can make $18 to $25 an hour. Like with many delivery services, you schedule a block of availability. Then you pick packages up from an Amazon warehouse and the app gives you directions for delivering them.

Some common workplace stressors are: Low salaries, Excessive workloads, Few opportunities for growth or advancement, Work that isn’t engaging or challenging, Lack of social support, Not having enough control over job-related decisions, Conflicting demands or unclear performance expectations. Another example can be, A stressful work environment can contribute to problems such as headache, stomachache, sleep disturbances, short temper and difficulty concentrating. Chronic stress can result in anxiety, insomnia, high blood pressure and a weakened immune system. It can also contribute to health conditions such as depression, obesity and heart disease. Compounding the problem, people who experience excessive stress often deal with it in unhealthy ways such as overeating, eating unhealthy foods, smoking cigarettes or abusing drugs and alcohol.
The most important reason Driving is scary is because I wont be able to control the car, I may cause an accident. Nothing is scarier than Driving; you have to make sure to watch for other drivers and controlling this ton machine. An example can be, there is nothing scary about it. But you and (past me and) all those who dont know how to drive may have any or multiple of the following fears: I wont be able to control the car, I may cause an accident, may hit a pedestrian, may hit another car, may fall the car off a cliff if its a hilly area, I may hurt myself during the process of driving, I may not be able to park, I may not be able to take the car uphill - it will start going back, I may not be able to brake the car on a main road when required, And, worst of all - I may kill somebody. Some solutions I have tried and overcame are, Try to learn driving from a professional - a driving instructor, Try to learn driving on a small - hatch preferably – car, Try to learn driving on an auto transmission car so that you dont have to worry for changing gears, Dont worry about the dashboard of the car as there might be so many buttons and numbers - just get yourself adjusted with steering wheel, accelerator, and brakes (after these of course you will have to know how to give indicators and use rain-wipers), Once youre well-familiar with the above things, ask your instructor to take you to an area where there are less cars and less people, Practice there, Practice daily, Practice in different conditions - rain, night, day, MOST important: Tell yourself that you can do it. Its not a rocket science. Believe me after a few lessons itll become your habit. ALWAYS STAY CONFIDENT AND POSITIVE And, NEVER EVER TRY TO OVERSPEED. And follow all other rules REMEMBER: so many bad things can happen anywhere - while youre on the road walking, or in a train, or in a car with someone else driving, or anywhere but they dont always happen! Youve to be positive! Another example is Breathing when you are driving and when a panic attack comes on do breathing and grounding techniques to stay calm.

When you think you cannot do work because it is stressful try tracking your stressors like keeping a journal, develop healthy responses instead of alcohol try making good choices, take time to recharge like on your off days try and take a relaxing bubble bath, talk to your supervisor and letting him/her know it is to stressful and you might need something less, and get support from family and friends.

City Vs. Country!!!

City or country? What is better? Big metropolis or big yard? Culture or nature?  Even though but public transportation options fill this void, making owning a car in a big city unnecessary., I like to live in the country because it is more peaceful. because in the country, the brain is less likely to experience this kind of overstimulation. and the further out into the country you get, the more your air quality improves.
Public Transportation bring many benefits to individuals, communities, and the local economy, but all too often, they dont get near the amount of attention that they should.  Public transportation options fill this void, making owning a car in a big city unnecessary. Whether traveling by taxi, subway (called the EL in Chicago), or bus, you can reach your destination in a city for a reasonable price, without the hassle of searching for a parking spot. Example: reduces air pollution, Increased fuel efficiency, reduced traffic congestion, saves money, increases mobility, frees up time, makes transportation safer, encourages healthier habits. Another example that shows that public transportation options fill this void, making owning a car in a big city unnecessary. Is public transportation contributes to both the economical and physical health of individuals, it brings financial benefits to communities, and it provides not only jobs in the industry itself, but is also a key component of a healthy business ecosystem by increasing mobility options for both job commuters and customers alike.

One example is that science shows that living in the country is beneficial for both your physical and your mental health. And while city and suburb living certainly have plenty of their own benefits, theres something about country life that just does the body good. It has cleaner air, less crime, less psychological health, it can be cheaper, exposure to nature and you can have easy access to organic food. Example, Pollution in more heavily populated areas comes not only from a lack of greenery, but also tiny yet harmful particles released into the air from trucks, buses, cars, factories, and other mainstays of urban environments, A lower risk of anxiety disorders and mood disorders. There is also research showing that city living increases schizophrenia risk, likely due to unknown environmental factors that impact developing brains, and As for specific benefits, immersing yourself in a natural environment is good for everything from improving your short term memory to lowering your blood pressure. It might even make you more creative.
The most important reason I like to live in the country because it is more peaceful. An example can be You look out your window every morning to see what people from the city drive for hours (and sometimes pay big money) to enjoy. Peace and quiet. Real quiet. Hearing a car – a single car – drive by within a kilometer is a noticeable event. And at night you can lay out and look at all the beautiful stars which also makes it more relaxing. You dont have to worry about neighbors playing their music too loud or cars honking right outside your window. The peace and quiet of country living isnt just about what you cant hear, its also about what you can hear – the rain hitting your roof at night, the birds singing in the morning, and the cows mooing out in the pasture.

It also means you can crank your music as loud as you want and honk at your livestock if they get in your cars way and Theres nothing better than taking a blanket out and laying it down in the grass on a summer night, so you can lie down and look up at the stars.

My Siblings!!!

Are siblings a good thing or a bad thing? Even though Sibling relationships play out in unpredictable ways with unpredictable results. they can also causes life-long social dysfunction. , I have seven sisters and one brother, Tiffany, Jasmine, Amanda, Terri, Candi, Melissa, Dawn, and Davey because Brotherhood and sisterhood can teach social skills and help us learn to resolve conflicts and brothers and sisters are, more often than not, childrens first playmates and adults oldest friends

Another example that shows that Sibling relationships play out in unpredictable ways with unpredictable results. they can also cause life-long social dysfunction. Is, Nina Howe, research chair of early childhood development at Concordia University, told Fatherly. I think of the sibling relationship as a natural laboratory for learning how to get along with people. But I only got to meet five of my sisters; two of them I have not met yet.
Tiffany: I meet Tiffany a year ago when my dad and brother took a trip to Indianapolis, Indiana for Christmas. When I meet her, she seemed really cool and laidback; she also was very friendly and opened her house to me. It seemed like she really wanted to meet me which was pretty cool.  She has two girls and it was nice knowing that I had two more nieces that I did not know I had, and they were so precious.  Jasmine and Amanda: I really did not get to meet Jasmine or Amanda but from what I hear they seem really cool too they just hate my dad from leaving. I hope one day I get to meet them.
Terri: Terri is my adoptive sister because my dad adopted her when she was two years old. I consider her a sister because she always had my back no matter what. She is also the cool sister; once we were at a hotel and we went and knocked on random doors well she did and it was by mistake but she said ding dong ditch which was pretty funny; another good thing I like about Terri is she is funny and always there when I need her. Especially now that my mom passed away, I had to call or message her about female questions because of course my dad would not know.
Candi: I have known Candi all my life and I like her but then again, I dislike her sometimes. When I was younger, she always took care of me but now that I am older, she is rude and very mean and says whats on her mind which can be a good thing, but I hate it. I admire her for it and how hard working she is and how a wonderful mom she is especially to Nicholas who has autism.  
Melissa: I liked Melissa when I was younger because we use to talk all the time but now, we do not even talk. She is self-absorbed and all about her. The one thing I like about her is how we share the same thing art/drawing. She was the one who introduced me to drawing and I actually liked it and is good at it. But because she is all about her, we did not get along when I got older, we argued a lot so now we do not talk.
Dawn: I hated Dawn for a while because of how she treated my niece Brianna. She and her husband get drunk and they get mean and would always yell at her even knowing that she is depressed which makes it worse. But when I saw her two years ago for Christmas I kind of let all that go, and I started liking her again. When I was younger, she was so nice and always treated me good. And when I saw her, she was nice, and it made up for me hating her all those years and I feel guilty for it; but whats done is done and I cannot change that. All I can do is go forward, she is an awesome sister and an even more amazing mother. That is what I should have been looking at.
Davey: Davey is the baby of all of us and he is the only boy. When he was younger, he told my mom that he should be spoiled because he is the only boy. When my mom was pregnant with him, my dad thought he was another girl which was funny because once he was born my dad had this shocked look. Davey and I are closer than I am of any of my sisters because he grew up together, all my sisters were older and had their own families, so I barely got to see them. I will do anything for Davey; I want what is best for him and his future. I want him to go and become something. He is smart and talented; he can play the cello which I always thought was pretty awesome, he can even draw pretty good and that is one thing we have in common.

Me, Myself, and I!!!!

How do I describe myself? What kind of person am I? Even though I am very impatient when it comes to waiting and I have mood swings., I am dependable, honest, and compassionate. because I am also very compassionate when it comes to others. and I love to help people and I am always there when needed. An example is, I had this friend and she became pregnant and when she called on my birthday, I dropped everything and took her to the store to get food and when her card would not work, I even paid for her food.
I am very impatient when it comes to waiting and I have mood swings. An example is when my mom took me to the doctors, and I was waiting a long time I would get irritable and become every impatient. I would start getting loud and even threatened to leave. I have worked on this throughout the years and I am getting better. Another example is I have mood swings, I would go from being happy to be being pissed off to crying. I am diagnosed with Depression, Anxiety, OCD, PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, and lastly Bipolar 1 Disorder which would explain my moon swings.
I am very Dependable, no matter what if I do not have a car I would find someone like my mom or my dad to take me. For instance, when one of my friends had called me because she was home alone and scared at the time, I could not drive so I asked my mom if she could take me and I would do my homework while I was there. Once I got there we talked and talked about everything and anything until I had to leave but by then someone else had came to keep her company. And another example is one of my other friend called me hysterical and crying because she thought the pound was there to get her dog and what did I do I got in my car and drove to her house to make sure everything was okay; which it was.
I am also very honest, when someone would ask me a question, I will answer it as honest as I can. I never was honest; it is something I have been working at for years and I am now honest no matter what. Sometimes I will beat around the bush but eventually I will say something honest; and I will try to not lie especially to my dad or my boyfriend. I may not like it and it may be hard but I try to be as honest as I can so later it will not come and bite me in the butt.
I am also very compassionate: feeling or showing sympathy and concern for others. I always was compassionate, even when I was younger. I always was nice to others no matter what and always showed compassion towards others as well. having compassion for someone can lead to feeling empathy for another person. I believe that having compassion for someone involves more than putting yourself in their place and genuinely wanting to understand or even help them. It involves beginning to have a totally different perspective when it comes to how you perceive others. An example is, instead of assuming that the reason someone has done something that hurts you is because they are selfish or inconsiderate, assume instead that they had a good reason for doing it.
So, it is clear that although I am very impatient when it comes to waiting and I have mood swings., I am dependable, honest, and compassionate. for two main reasons. First, I am also very compassionate when it comes to others. But most importantly, I love to help people and I am always there when needed. Social groups affected include both membership groups, in which individuals are “formally” members (such as political parties and trade unions), and cliques, in which membership is not clearly defined. However, a person does not need to be a member or be seeking membership of a group to be affected by peer pressure. Peer pressure can decrease one’s confidence. It can affect the lives of the students drastically.
What is peer pressure? Peer pressure is the influence from members of one’s peer group a study done on groups of preschool children showed that they were influenced by groups of their peers to change their opinion to a demonstrably wrong one. Another definition can be, it often happens to children during puberty. The group defines some social values. For somebody to stay “cool” in that group, they feel as if they have to act like other people in that group. For example, it can influence a person to smoke cigarettes or marijuana, to drink alcohol, commit crimes, and/or many other things that they might regret. It can take the form of encouragement, requests, challenges, threats, or insults. Sometimes, peer pressure is unspoken—an adolescent may feel pressured to do something simply because their friends are doing it.
Who can peer pressure affect? It can affect all ages. In the present study, age differences and developmental change in resistance to peer influence were assessed using a new self-report instrument that separates susceptibility to peer pressure from willingness to engage in antisocial activity. Data from four ethnically and socioeconomically diverse samples comprising more than 3,600 males and females between the ages of 10 and 30 were pooled from one longitudinal and two cross-sectional studies. Results show that across all demographic groups, resistance to peer influences increases linearly between ages 14 and 18. In contrast, there is little evidence for growth in this capacity between ages 10 and 14 or between 18 and 30. Middle adolescence is an especially significant period for the development of the capacity to stand up for what one believes and resist the pressures of ones peers to do otherwise. Should abortion be legal or Illegal? What are the advantages and disadvantages?  Even though he US Supreme Court has declared abortion to be a fundamental right guaranteed by the US Constitution also Reproductive choice empowers women by giving them control over their own bodies. , in my opinion I think it should be illegal! Former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor wrote in the 1992 decision in Planned Parenthood v. Casey, “The ability of women to participate equally in the economic and social life of the Nation has been facilitated by their ability to control their reproductive lives.” Another example is, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg wrote in her dissenting opinion in Gonzales v. Carhart (2007) that undue restrictions on abortion infringe upon “a woman’s autonomy to determine her life’s course, and thus to enjoy equal citizenship stature.” Another good example can be that, Personhood begins after a fetus becomes viable (able to survive outside the womb) or after birth, not at conception and Fetuses are incapable of feeling pain when most abortions are performed.
Some Say that pregnant women should have the right to have an abortion. The fact that not all pregnancies are viable is insufficient support to justify shifting control of all pregnancies to the mother and this claim gives mothers control over unviable pregnancies, but not viable pregnancies, but there are abortion laws that prevent all types of abortion unless the mothers life is in danger. This ban includes preventing the mother from ending a non-viable pregnancy, forcing them to carry a baby they know wont survive to term.

The federal Unborn Victims of Violence Act, which was enacted “to protect unborn children from assault and murder,” states that under federal law, anybody intentionally killing or attempting to kill an unborn child should “be punished… for intentionally killing or attempting to kill a human being.” Upon fertilization, a human individual is created with a unique genetic identity that remains unchanged throughout his or her life. This individual has a fundamental right to life, which must be protected. Example two, Jerome Lejeune, the French geneticist who discovered the chromosome abnormality that causes Down syndrome, stated that “To accept the fact that after fertilization has taken place a new human has come into being is no longer a matter of taste or opinion… The human nature of the human being from conception to old age is not a metaphysical contention, it is plain experimental evidence.” Fetuses feel pain during the abortion procedure. An example is, Maureen Condic, PhD, Associate Professor of Neurobiology and Anatomy and Adjunct Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine, explains that the “most primitive response to pain, the spinal reflex,” is developed by eight weeks gestation, and adds that “There is universal agreement that pain is detected by the fetus in the first trimester.”
So it is clear that although he US Supreme Court has declared abortion to be a fundamental right guaranteed by the US Constitution also Reproductive choice empowers women by giving them control over their own bodies. , in my opinion i think it should be illegal! for two main reasons. First, Life begins at conception, so unborn babies are human beings with a right to life. . But most importantly, Abortion is murder. Should abortion be legal or Illegal? What are the advantages and disadvantages?  The abortion debate is fraught with rhetoric, as advocates on both sides of the issue spin facts to support their side of the debate. So what if it is illegal? In 1972, there were 19 deaths from illegal back-alley abortions. In 2017, there were 1001 complications from legal front-alley abortions among just 13 states that reported. Abortion is never safe for the mother or child. Abortion is more dangerous now than ever before.

Bullying and its Effects:

Bullying is bad. Why do we bully? Can we stop? Even though seek to harm, intimidate, or coerce (someone perceived as vulnerable) and it is An aggressive or unwanted behavior used again and again, to isolate, harm or control another person., Bullying can effect lots of people those who are bullied, those who are bullying and those who just stand by and do nothing. because Kids who bully others can also engage in violent and other risky behaviors into adulthood and Kids who are bullied can experience negative physical, school, and mental health issues.
Kids who are bullied have been known to have some pretty bad effects. One example is, it can cause Depression and anxiety, increased feelings of sadness and loneliness, changes in sleep and eating patterns, and loss of interest in activities they used to enjoy. These issues may persist into adulthood, Health complaints, Decreased academic achievement—GPA and standardized test scores—and school participation. They are more likely to miss, skip, or drop out of school. A very small number of bullied children might retaliate through extremely violent measures. In 12 of 15 school shooting cases in the 1990s, the shooters had a history of being bullied. Kids who bully others can also engage in violent and other risky behaviors into adulthood. Kids who bully are more likely to: Abuse alcohol and other drugs in adolescence and as adults, Get into fights, vandalize property, and drop out of school, Engage in early sexual activity, Have criminal convictions and traffic citations as adults , and Be abusive toward their romantic partners, spouses, or children as adults. Kids who witness bullying are more likely to: Have increased use of tobacco, alcohol, or other drugs, Have increased mental health problems, including depression and anxiety, and Miss or skip school.
Why do we really bully others? It is because we want others to feel pain just like we do or is it just for fun. According to our latest research, 1 in 2 people experience bullying at some point before their 20th birthday. And trust us when we say this, we know how difficult it can be to go through it, especially if you dont fully understand the psychology of bullying. Stress and Trauma can be one reason; one example is data shows that those who bully are far more likely than average to have experienced a stressful or traumatic situation in the past 5 years. Examples include their parents/guardians splitting up, the death of a relative or the gaining of a little brother or sister. It makes sense because we all respond to stress in very different ways. Another reason is having Aggressive behavior and an example is, 66% of the people who had admitted to bullying somebody else were male. Take a minute to think about how guys are raised in our culture and compare that to the ways in which girls are raised. The moment a guy starts to show any sign of emotion, hes told to man up and to stop being a girl. For girls, its encouraged that they speak up about issues that affect them. For guys, its discouraged and so they start to respond with aggressive behaviors, such as bullying, as a way of coping with issues that affect them.
Can we control bullying? Can we stop from bullying others? We can stop by a few steps like-Everything you say and do has an impact on those around you. Because of you, people can feel empowered and loved, but also insecure and hurt. Even the smallest words and actions, whether online or in person, can have a big effect. Before you say or do something, think about how you might make others feel. Another way is to take a minute to ask yourself—what impact are my actions having? Most of us are well-intentioned and try to do the right thing, but nobody’s perfect. Even small missteps can have consequences that we don’t expect. Sometimes we may not realize that our actions and words impact a lot of people. We need to try and change bullying to no bullying especially in schools and the workplace.

Mental Health:

  Why mental illnesses are not a disability? Should it be? I think so! We have to ask What is mental health? Hoe does it affect our daily lives. Even though antidepressant medications such as the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) consistently reduce symptoms of depression by 30 percent to 60 percent overall and lead to complete remission in a significant proportion of patients., I believe all types of mental illnesses should be considered a disability because interfere in one’s ability to work and thus provide for themselves financially significantly reduce one’s capacity to complete tasks of daily living (shopping, self-care, food preparation, etc.) prevent one from caring for him- or herself and/or others and Mental health disorders can present challenges in daily living. When they interfere with your ability to function and meet basic needs.
What Are the different types of mental health? And how can they impact our life? There are several types; Here is a list: Anxiety- Related disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, impulse and addiction disorder, personality disorders, Obsessive compulsive disorder, Traumatic- stress, disorder, Stress response syndromes (formerly called adjustment disorders), Dissociative disorders and so many more. So what exactly is mental health? Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices.
        How can we tell if we have a mental illness? Experiencing one or more of the following feelings or behaviors can be an early warning sign of a problem: Eating or sleeping too much or too little, Pulling away from people and usual activities, Having low or no energy, Feeling numb or like nothing matters, Having unexplained aches and pains, Feeling helpless or hopeless, Smoking, drinking, or using drugs more than usual, Feeling unusually confused, forgetful, on edge, angry, upset, worried, or scared, Yelling or fighting with family and friends, Experiencing severe mood swings that cause problems in relationships, Having persistent thoughts and memories you can’t get out of your head, Hearing voices or believing things that are not true, Thinking of harming yourself or others, and the inability to perform daily tasks like taking care of your kids or getting to work or school.
Sometimes people who have a mental illness sometimes do not ask for help, or they to afraid to speak up and tell the truth. Some may want their psychiatrist to ask certain questions. For example, Can you help me understand what its like living with your condition?, Is there anything you need from me or something I can do to help you?, Can we do something together – get coffee, go for a walk or see a movie?, Just because the person has mental illness doesnt mean he/she wont want to do regular activities, What is your diagnosis and how do you feel about it?, Do you need to talk?, Sometimes talking can help make things feel a little better,  What can I do to be there for you, and help you feel supported?, How can I support you – can I listen to you, leave you alone, give you a hug?,  How has living with this condition shaped who you are today?, How are you? You dont seem like yourself, and I want to know how youre really feeling because I care about you.
Can mental health change? Yes! But for some it does not it gets worse. What are some ways to help with mental health? Well you are in luck! There are six habits; positive, that can help improve mental health. For instance, Exercising, sleep, play, eat well, give and manage stress. It will be a difficult journey and it may not help but how will you know if you do not try. Another example is, taking prescribed medication that your psychiatrist gives. Prescribed medications play a key role in the treatment of co-occurring disorders. They can reduce symptoms and prevent relapses of a psychiatric disorder. Medications can also help patients minimize cravings and maintain abstinence from addictive substances. For instance, many doctors choose to prescribe a psychopharmalogical drug, usually made of a synthetic chemical compound that helps to compensate for imbalanced brain chemistry. For example, antidepressant medications such as the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) consistently reduce symptoms of depression by 30 percent to 60 percent overall and lead to complete remission in a significant proportion of patients. But Many patients do not take medication as prescribed. Some simply forget medications, but often “forgetting” is really related to an underlying concern.  When patients are not adherent to the medication plan, modifications to the medication prescription or to the plan should be based on the patients’ unique reasons for not taking them.

It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences., Mental pain is less dramatic than physical pain, but it is more common and also more hard to bear. The frequent attempt to conceal mental pain increase the burden: It is easier to say, “My tooth is aching” than to say, “My heart is broken”. So, what if mental health can improve, some people may have a more difficult time improving their mental health and coping with it.
