Sesame Ginger Chicken

Wether you need a super tasty meal prep option or just need a super quick dinner recipe, this is perfect for you. Its ready within minutes and packed with huge flavors. You will want it every day.

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into strips

salt & pepper to taste

1 tbsp garlic powder

3 tbsp cornstarch

1 tbsp vegetable oil

3 gloves of garlic, finely minced

1 tbsp freshly grated ginger

¼ cup low sodium soy sauce

1 tbsp rice wine vinegar

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp sesame seeds

½ tbsp red pepper flakes

green onions to top

1. Place the chicken in a large bowl and season generously with the salt, pepper, and 1 tbsp of garlic powder. Toss to make sure all pieces get some seasonings. Add the cornstarch to the bowl and toss to coat all the chicken. set aside

2. In a measuring cup combine the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sugar, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes. Mix well until all is combined. Set aside.

3. In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil over high heat. Once it is very hot, almost smoking, add the chicken. Let sit and cook for 2 minutes. Then continuously stir the chicken for 2 more minutes, until it begins to brown. Add in the sauce and stir well to get all the chicken coated. Cook for 3 more minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.

4. Top with green onions and serve over rice or noodles or just eat the entire pan cause its that delicious.
